Imsiridou Anastasia

Mrs. Imsiridou Anastasia is a graduate of the Department of Biology of A.U.Th. and has completed her doctoral thesis in the Sector of Genetics, Development and Molecular Biology of the same Department and at the Center d’Analyse Moléculaire de la Biodiversité of the University Claude Bernard (Lyon), on the subject: Study of the genetic structure of Leuciscus cephalus (L.) populations in Greece. She is the author of 24 papers published in international journals, 4 articles in books, 47 announcements at national and international scientific conferences and she is the author of a scientific book. She has participated and has been a Principal Investigator in more than ten research projects. Her research interests focus on population genetics, genetic study of aquatic organisms, bioinformatics, genetic identification of food products, mislabeling control in food products with molecular analysis techniques.
